Frequently asked questions

Which is the best state to form a US LLC?+

For most non-US founders, Wyoming is the best all-rounder thanks to strong privacy, low fees and no state income tax. New Mexico is the cheapest long-term option. Delaware suits venture-backed startups. If you live or do business in a specific state, you should form there.

Can a non-US resident open a US LLC in any state?+

Yes. No US state requires US citizenship or residency to form or own an LLC. The entire process is remote.

What is included in your all-inclusive bundle?+

Every bundle includes state filing fee, LLC formation, EIN with verification letter, Registered Agent for one year, a business address, operating agreement, mail scanning, US bank account opening assistance and lifetime support.

Do I need to pick the state where I live?+

If you live or actively do business in a US state, you should form there to avoid foreign-LLC registration. If you live outside the United States, you can pick any state.

Why are state fees so different?+

Each state sets its own filing and annual fees. They range from under $50 to $500. Annual obligations also vary, with some states requiring no annual report at all.

Will Stripe and PayPal accept my LLC?+

Yes. All US LLCs are accepted by Stripe, PayPal, Wise and major US payment processors when paired with an EIN.

Can I move my LLC to a different state later?+

Yes, through a process called domestication or conversion, which we can help with.

Do I need a US address?+

No. The Registered Agent address we provide covers state requirements, and we can also issue a unique mailing address.
